Hari ini iseng-iseng googling tentang pleco, and dapet ini:

Black Adonis Pleco (Acanthicus hystrix) aka Lyre Tail Pleco are sometimes bought by aquarium enthusiast but that is usually a mistake. Acanthicus hystrix is best suited for large public aquariums or large private aquariums not small home aquariums of 100 gallons are less. Take one look at the one pictured above and you can easily understand why.

Acanthicus hystrix are omnivorous and are native to South America. DON'T discard you oversized catfish into local waters where they can become an exotic nuisance.

Ada juga Ripsaw catfish - Pseudodoras niger or(Oxydoras niger) is a catfish from the Amazon. Can be purchased for aquariums. But they can outgrow an aquarium as they gt fairly large.

Terakhir mekong giant catfish. Kayanya pernah dimuat di sini, tapi saya ga bisa liat gambarnya. Sayangnya katanya sudah hampir punah.

Mekong giant catfish (Pangasianodon gigas) he is a picture that has been widely distributed throughout the internet and you are probably wondering if this is a hoax or real. Well unlike just about every other amazing photograph that makes these rounds this one just so happens to be REAL!

This one weighed in at an incredible 646 pounds! Widely reported as the largest totally freshwater fish ever recorded. Well take a good look because these magnificant creatures may not be around much longer. They are endangered and hardly any are ever cuaght anymore.

The only known breeding grounds of these fish in Thailand have been destroyed by dynamite for some kind of navigation project in 2003 and now Cambodia is the only place where these fish are caught with any regularity. Research is being done there and hopefully some sorts of controls will be placed on fishing to allow these fish to survive.

klo d piara d kolam iya bs gede bgt,, klo d aqua dgn ukuran tbatas, ya tdk akan segede d kolam.. bukan begitu bro? CMIIW
