Super red Development phase

I'm just curios, For super red development.
Do they go through a yellow color phase?
or do they skip yellow and go to orange or dark red immediately?
I'm curious as I have some big reds which turned orange and then the orange just developed darker. But now i have 2 reds whose color are yellowish, is there a chance for these reds color to develop?
