Aro light tanning---a waste of electricity????

Guys, have heard some opinion that aro tanning using light is a waste of electricity since they believe that aro colour development fully depends on its genetics quality.

For example, at 1 comm-tank consist of 10 aros from the same blood, treat with the same water, same tank, same condition, same lighting, same tanning period. After tanning 3 months until size 30 cm, 4 of them still have no colour at all, while the other 6 have come-out with colour. How to explain this phenomena if light-tanning is useful......or half useful???

Please share your opinion and experience here.

Tanning merupakan cara untuk mempercepat development (matang) warna aro, bukan membuat aro menjadi lebih merah atau lebih gold, seberapa cepat dan merahnya tergantung genetik dari masing2 aro tersebut.

Seperti daku jika ditanning jemur matahari, jadi gosong, sedang defro kejemur matahari paling kemerah2an atau jadi kanker kulit jadinya kalau berlebihan (becanda ya)

Dengan kata lain saya kurang tanning sementara Pak Niwan cukup tanning?.......hehehehehe..... .atau saya chili red dan pak niwan blood red?........hahahahahaa.....JK ..........

Ha ha ha bisa aja, Platinum kali nich kamu Def ...

Tanning commtank sebenarnya kurang efective, dibandingkan sendiri2 di tanning, dan walaupun satu indukan, tetap saja tidak bisa 100% semuanya sama persis kualitas, adanya yg lebih gantengan atau cantik, sedikit ganteng atau cantik begitu loooh

Karena kalau commtank, pada rebutan ingin ditanning, mejeng didepan lampu tanning, baru juga sebentar mejeng didepan lampu tanning, udah diselak lagi ama yg lain, begitu terus

Gue juga punya punya teory ,kalo aro jadi lbh intens warnanya karena faktor si pemeliharanya , sbb:
1. Si pemelihara beli sama siapa ( beli kodian grade apkir atau selected grade) faktor genetik menentukan
2. Si pemelihara kasih makan apa , diet makanan dgn nutrisi tepat atau makanan lemak doang
3. Si pemelihara memanage air dan systematika aquariumnya , apa asal2an atau penuh kecermatan dgn parameter air .
4. Si pemelihara punya pengetahuan apa ttg tanning method , kenapa ikan di aquarium indoor lbh pucat ketimbang ikan di outdoor , apa fungsi guanophore cell saat diradiasi UV light matahari/lampu artifisial , apa itu efek irisdescent pada saat Iridophore cell berpendar saat ikan kena sinar UV matahari/ artifisial

First after read some question about tanning method in previous thread , i would explain something in ichtyologhy as especially when we re talking about colouration :
1 First : Male or female Aro will developt different stages of colouration ,at fry stage to adult age , and especially at mating colouration .
Dont get panic when you put few aros in the same tank or pond (from the sam batch then few coloured better than others , sex gender also determines colouration especially when they re put together in community tank.
2. Domination : dominant aro will show better colouration than the loser bunch , in several case dominant aro is not always single alpha aro dominate the whole community but it graduated down, few aro may dominated the whole bunch , that why colouration may shows something here , if you re examine them ,you will see the dominants just by the colour itself, common example is like Beta fightingfish community , see the dominant will coloured best than others
3. Tanning , as i described on my article about pigmentation colouration , i could assure you that colouration depends on photosyntesis reaction on guanophore cell on fish skin , this is absolute fact .
To be more specific if you want to developt full potential of your single aro , put it on solitaire tank rather than in comm tank, thats how you could eliminate external factor that could influencing the result.
