Do Aros Eat Flies?

This is just a quick question that comes through my mind regarding the jumping ability of every aro. Do they eat regular common flies, maybe not the average house flies when they are in the wild, but do they?

Cannot bro...flies are too fast and too small for arowanas,they cannot see it and feel it with their barbels (moustache)

.Also I never heard that people fed their aro with flies

I saw at the tv geographic program, in the wild aro sometimes do jump to get flies. What I saw is silver, dont know another aro

yup, I saw it at the National geo channel, and it was a killer moment, I wish I had record it. But how come aros don't get sick from eating flies, it maybe just a hunch but don't flies have higher toxic within their body...

The Arowana in the wild is a surface-feeder. It swims almost at the surface of the water constantly looking upwards for insects to capture and feed on. This is the only reason why I prefer to answer "yes" on the above subject.

It's not a common if the Aro lives in Aquarium, but it is if they are in the river...can you imagine how much of flies you should provide everytime you feed the Aro?
