Basically the same as Actnic, Metal Halide are used for coral growth lighting, perhaps you need another type (Plant growth lamp) to complete it,
Metal Halide from above the water may cause eye drop and sever temperature rise, beware

according to your letter, is it bulb by the mean Light bulb with electrical filament? no do not use it ,it generates heat more than light , just use TL type (stick light type) you may choose Plant growth type (normally at 14.000K to 16.000K in colour temp)

Deep redish pink light is around 11.000K i think , you may go to pro marine fish shop and asking about lighting equipment , most marine fish shop ussually has plenty of lamp type , find 40 plant growth 14.000k/16.000K and 20W Actnic Blue 22.000K , light up your fish with this combination 12hours a day and see the difference in 1-2 weeks

Sorry but just a newbie question here. Where do you post your lightset? Is it placed on the top of the tank or at the side of the tank, doing side tanning. Please advise.:)
